Profit Pulse: The Next Chapter.
Hey! I'm thrilled to reach out to you today with some exciting updates about Profit Pulse.
First and foremost, I want to express my sincere gratitude for your interest and support. When Profit Pulse launched in January, the goal was to provide refined summaries of earnings calls. Your sign-up was a vote of confidence, and for that, I am truly thankful.
While our initial focus was solely on surfacing trends via earnings calls, the scope of our content is expanding to embrace a broader spectrum of financial insights, analysis, and community.
Today, Profit Pulse begins a new chapter with an evolved mission: We aim to democratize financial analysis by automating and openly sharing our workflows and research, contributing to a more informed financial world.
Redefining Profit Pulse: A Broader Scope
As we deployed the initial Profit Pulse tooling, we found ourselves deep in a rabbit hole surrounded by builders leveraging the latest and greatest in AI tech. Our discussions suggested that open-sourcing our behind-the-scenes work might be more valuable than the earnings call summaries themselves.
These insights (as well as the rapid evolution of embeddings and vector databases) drove our hiatus and ultimately led to this expansion beyond just earnings call summaries.
New Content and Features
Our analysis is now becoming sector-specific and is shifting to these new feeds. Readers will benefit by having the option to subscribe to weekly (and eventually daily) feeds analyzing various sectors (web3, biotech, climate, AI, and more) across both public and private markets.
We will keep analyzing public company earnings calls to identify market trends. By integrating venture capital and private start-up analysis into the research, we aim to cast an even sharper light on these trends. These new analysis channels will be offered a la carte, as we want to offer complete optionality to our readers seeking more frequent updates.
In the meantime, this newsletter (the one sending this post) will act as a comprehensive resource, delivering monthly updates that go beyond merely linking to the tools we use for building. We're committed to demystifying the process by explaining exactly how we build with them.
To this end, we'll share detailed, step-by-step guides aimed at reducing the friction often encountered when learning to deploy these tools. Our focus is on making the latest GitHub repositories and LLM tools more accessible and user-friendly. Whether you're a seasoned developer or a curious beginner, our guides are designed to simplify your journey, ensuring that you can leverage these tools with greater ease and confidence.
Engagement and Feedback
After uploading our first how-to guide (PDF Upload: How to Upload PDF files to Bubble.io), we discovered our viewers were keen to share their ideas and questions. To facilitate this, we launched a Discord server where we encourage you to actively share your thoughts, feedback, and suggestions about what you’d like to see next. This space is designed to foster a community of analysts and builders who can lean on each other for self-improvement.
We invite you to come directly engage with us and fellow community members. We warmly invite feedback; feel free to reply directly to this email to share your thoughts and ideas. Your input is vital in shaping the future of Profit Pulse, and we’re excited to hear from you.
